Yate Athletics Track & Race Information
The Venue
Yate & District Athletics Club,
part of the Yate Outdoor Sports Complex, Broad Lane, Yate,
Bristol BS37 7LB
Parking & Registration
Car parking is free for up to 180 cars.
Once parked, walk towards the track. The registration desk will be found on your left before you enter the track.
Please provide a photographic ID.
If you provide your name to the staff at the registration desk, you will be issued your timing chip.
Your timing chip must be placed in the bucket after you cross the finish line.
There is no official bag drop
The Volunteer Gazebo for registration and gathering is located in the centre of the track, behind Labour 6, Goblet Squat.
Please note that dogs are not allowed, except for service dogs on leads.
Facilities
In the stadium, you will find:
Vending machine,
toilets, showers, changing rooms and water fountains.
Food & Drinks
The Independent Vendor(s) will be located near the Registration and Merchandise desks, before entering the track.
Additional Information
The warm-up area is located behind the start line. Please arrive in that area 5-10 minutes before your scheduled start time.
All Labour lanes are numbered and in order 1 -12. They are marked with the relevant flag and sign, indicating the reps and required distance.
Relay teams stand back on the track and do not cross the timing mat until they have completed their run and entered the relevant labour station.
