Fitness Racing on a world stage
Deadly Dozen World Championships represent the pinnacle of fitness racing — where the fastest athletes from across the globe earn their place on one start line.
Taking place 5–6 September 2026 at the National Sports Centre, Crystal Palace, London, the Championships will crown the world’s best in a head-to-head battle for global titles and a share of £120,000 in prize money.
With capacity for up to 3,280 athletes, there are substantial qualification opportunities across all age groups and divisions — ensuring broad global representation on the world stage.
This is the ultimate test of performance, consistency, and resilience — bringing together qualified competitors to compete for world recognition.
How to Qualify
Pathway 1
GLOBAL TOP 12
The 12 fastest athletes in each age group per division during the qualification window earn automatic entry. No allocation. No discretion. Pure performance secures your place.
Pathway 2
COUNTRY ROUND ROBIN
Each host nation receives a fair allocation of Championship spots. Your race time counts toward the country you compete in, with additional places awarded beyond the Global Top 12 to ensure worldwide representation.

Qualification FAQ’S
-
Your most recent qualifying race determines which championship age group and division you qualify in — not necessarily your fastest time ever.
Here's why this matters:
Age Group Lock: Your age group is based on your age on December 31st of the year you raced. If you race again in a different year and move into a different age group, your qualification moves to that new bracket. Your previous fastest time in the old age group no longer counts for championship purposes.
-
Qualification is based on the country where you compete, not your passport. Your time contributes to that nation’s allocation pool for Championship spots.
-
Yes. Qualification is based on the country where you race, not your nationality. If you have not yet secured a Championship spot, you are free to compete in any country hosting a qualifying race.
Different nations have different depth of fields and allocation thresholds, which can create strategic opportunities. Travelling to race in locations such as Malta, Mexico, or other host countries may improve your chances of qualification — while also giving you the experience of racing internationally.
-
Your age group is determined by your age on 31 December of the race year. This ensures fair and consistent categorisation across all divisions.
-
You CAN race multiple times to improve your position. If you race again and get a faster time, that becomes your new qualifying result.

After the top 12 global automatic qualifiers in each age group, the remaining spots go through a country round-robin system. So you're not competing against the entire world — you're competing for your country's limited spots against other athletes from the same country, in the same division and age group.
